DPT 6150 Foundations of Muscoloskeletal Management

This course introduces basic concepts of musculoskeletal management to prepare the student for application to specific regional problems in Module IV (DPT 616, 617, 618).  Content includes an introduction to musculoskeletal physical therapy and the steps of patient/client management to include: the five steps of patient/client management: History, Tests & Measures, Diagnosis, Prognosis, and Intervention.  The foundational concepts are supported by an introduction to a clinical reasoning process informed by current best practice and utilized throughout the musculoskeletal module.
