A Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Music in the Liberal Arts requires the completion of the Elon Core Curriculum as well as the Major Requirements listed below.

In addition, each music in the liberal arts major must complete the following:
(a) twenty semester hours MUS or designated COR electives with at least sixteen hours at above the 200 level and four hours at or above the 300 level 20 sh
(b) four semester hours of ensembles or applied music lessons 4 sh
