MTH 4300 ABSTRACT ALGEBRA

Students who have had an introduction to the rules of logic and proof construction are introduced to abstract algebra, including topics such as functions, groups (cyclic, permutation, normal and quotient), properties of groups, rings, fields, homomorphisms, isomorphisms, real and complex numbers and polynomials.
