CSC4422 Data Mining and Machine Learning
This course provides an introduction to the concepts of data mining and machine learning. Students will be introduced to the many steps in the data mining process including: collection, cleaning, aggregation, transformation, mining and analysis, evaluation, presentation. Analysis techniques include: decision trees, clustering, Bayesian classifiers, text mining, association rules, social network analysis.

CSC 3211 and either CSC 2300 or instructor permission
