History A.B. - Special Education Teacher Licensure

A Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History with Teacher Licensure and a second major in Special Education requires the completion of the Elon Core Curriculum as well as the Major Requirements listed below.

Select sixteen hours of HST at the 100- or 200-level: 16 sh

  • Students must select at least one U.S. and one non-U.S. history course.

Select one HST elective at the 300-400 level for each of the following three areas: 12 sh

  • Four hours of U.S. history
  • Four hours of European history, including ancient history
  • Four hours of history of Africa, Asia, Latin America or the Middle East
