MTE 4710 A Music Theatre Writing

Audition required. This course will examine the craft of musical theatre song writing through study and practice. Students will analyze a breadth of MT literature to explore song form and musical structures, as well as utilize music and lyric tutorials to enhance their own writing. MTE majors or permission of instructor.
