TDT 3250 STAGE MANAGEMENT

Students will explore the theory, best practices, and the tools of stage management. Students will create organizational documents including a prompt book and production calendar; prepare for and run the audition, rehearsal, and performance process; generate and adapt forms for record keeping. Students will examine management and organizational methods; explore conflict resolution; learn collaboration techniques to support performers, designers and technicians. Students will analyze and communicate a dramatic text from a stage manager’s perspective.
