EDU 246 MATH AND SCIENCE FOR THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR

This course integrates the two primary goals of (1) enhancing students' personal comfort with and aptitude for mathematical and scientific concepts, and (2) providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to support learning of math and science in everyday early childhood sociocultural contexts. Topics include acquisition and development of concepts such as number, measurement, spatial reasoning, and hypothesis generation.
