EGR 103 CHALLENGES IN ENGINEERING

This two-semester course focuses on two major projects: a team project in design and fabrication that is completed in fall and a service-learning class project that is completed in the spring. Fundamental engineering concepts and practices will be incorporated in and around the completion of these core projects. These include engineering disciplines, the history of engineering, the design process, problem solving techniques, computer graphics, ethics and professional requirements. Students must take both semesters. No prerequisites.
