ENG 217 WRITING TECHNOLOGIES
This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to and familiarity with the writing software packages that are commonly considered the primary tools of communication in the professional world. We will both critique these tools, their strengths and limitations, as well as gain facility with their use through hands-on practice. Programs covered include advanced word processing tools; social media platforms; and image manipulation, web design, and page layout software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
