Visiting Students from Other Law Schools

The Law School is pleased to admit a limited number of visiting students from other ABA- accredited schools (“transient students”) who are in good academic standing at their home law schools and who have the permission of their home schools to study at the Law School.

Transient students are expected to adhere (1) to the requirements and standards of their home institution; and (2) to the academic and other standards specified in this Student Handbook, the Law School Honor Code, and other policies of the Law School. A transient student is solely responsible for ensuring that any course work completed at the Law School will be recognized by and will satisfy the applicable graduation requirements of the transient student’s home school. Students requiring financial assistance should contact the Financial Aid Office at their home schools and/or the Office of Financial Planning at Elon University for assistance and application materials. Students who have been approved for transient status at the Law School should seek the advice of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to complete registration.
