Graduation and degree requirements

To earn an M.Ed. degree, the graduate student must:

• Have an overall minimum grade point average of 3.0 in graduate coursework.
• Submit an application for graduation to the Registrar.
• Complete the courses specified under the graduate core curriculum and major area, Elementary, Gifted or Special Education.
• Complete 33 hours within six calendar years.
• Complete in a satisfactory manner the evidence of meeting the five graduate standards required for advanced licensure.
• Complete the last six semester hours at Elon.

It is the student’s responsibility to be familiar with the preceding requirements for graduation.
