Practicum and Internship Information
Prior to taking HSS 381, students must be approved by the Human Service Studies department. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.1 is required to be eligible for practicum.
Most of the other major requirements must be completed prior to taking HSS 481. Students who enroll in HSS 481 may not take any courses other than the prescribed block courses. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.2 is required to be eligible for internship. Applications for both practicum and internship must be completed by the spring semester prior to registration in order to enroll in these courses the following year.
