Music Minor
A minor in Music requires 20 semester hours. Students lacking functional knowledge of the keyboard must accumulate two semester hours in piano either prior to or simultaneously with their enrollment in MUS 111 and MUS 112.

MUS 317 | MUSIC HISTORY FOR THE LIBERAL ARTS STUDENT | 4 sh |
MUS 319 | HISTORY OF AMERICAN MUSIC | 4 sh |
MUS 351 | METHODS AND MATERIALS OF PIANO PEDAGOGY I | 3 sh |
MUS 352 | METHODS AND MATERIALS OF PIANO PEDAGOGY II | 3 sh |
MUS 353 | PIANO PEDAGOGY PRACTICUM | 1 sh |
In addition, each Music minor must complete the following:
(a) one medium of applied music instruction: 6 sh
(b) ensemble from MUS 101, MUS 102, MUS 103, MUS 105 and MUS 109: 4 sh
