We will approach American culture in an interdisciplinary way and from a variety of critical perspectives. We will read literary artifacts, political documents, and critical essays. We will also listen to songs, watch films, and visit two museums: the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in Greensboro and the Alamance County Historical Museum.
