MUS 355 THE ART OF SONGCRAFT

This course focuses on the art of songwriting in commercial and popular styles, including the musical elements of harmony, melody, arrangement, hook, groove and form, as well as the study of lyric writing. The course also covers the use of various tools used to create lead sheets, sheet music and make demo recordings.
