ACC 654 Issues in Tax Policy and Special Topics

A study of tax policy issues inherent in individual and corporate income taxes, consumption tax and wealth transfer taxes. Focus is placed on the purposes of taxation and the development of a “good” tax system. Taxation of estates, gifts and trusts is introduced.
