ACT 226 VOCAL PRODUCTION II
This course is designed to increase the actor's understanding of their vocal instrument, and the range of choices they can consciously employ as a dynamic communicator and an impersonator of human behavior. Students will examine the physical actions that produce identifiable sounds of human speech, with special emphasis on the sounds of American English. Study will include the manner in which these speech actions are rendered in print by use of the symbols of the International Phonetic Alphabet.
