SPN 314 US-SPANISH-AMERICAN RELATIONS
This course will improve students' command of Spanish, their understanding of Spanish Speaking cultures and develop critical and analytical skills when reading and writing in the target language. Through the reading and analysis of texts of mostly literary genres, the course will introduce students to the historical, political and cultural ties between the US and Spanish America, as well as some key moments in cultural history that have shaped these relationships.

SPN 222 or placement at this level
