Special Education

The Special Education program is one degree with two majors. These programs meet the coursework requirements for dual licensure in special education (General Curriculum, K-12) and one of the following areas: Elementary Education, Middle Grades (6-9), or Secondary English (9-12), Secondary Mathematics (9-12), Secondary History (9-12) or Secondary Comprehensive Science with a biology concentration (9-12). Please see each department listing for the teacher licensure requirements. Other licensure components (testing, edTPA) are required for licensure referral.
