DAN 2300 DANCE IMPROVISATION I

This course is a guided exploration of the elements of dance - space, time, energy, rhythm and design - and an introduction to contact improvisation. Through learning dance improvisation and contact improvisation skills, dancers discover how to think and move outside the box and develop unique and personal movement repertoire. This course provides a creative and technical wellspring from which the dancer will draw and prepares the dancer for the choreographic process.
