HST 3660 U.S. FOREIGN POLICY SINCE 1865

This class is designed to cover American foreign policy since the end of the Civil War to the present. Another way to conceptualize the class is to note that it is comprised mainly as diplomatic history. However, it is not traditional in that we will focus on not only the major diplomatic events and the players who brought them about but also the interconnection of diplomacy among various groups in American society.
