ART 3620 VIDEO ART AND EXPANDED CINEMA

Emphasis is on the creation, manipulation, and display of moving image works. Projects, which will embody intersections between video art, sound art, experimental cinema and animation, are non-commercial in nature and situated within a contemporary art context. Students engage in critical inquiry through required readings and research as a supplement to creative projects.
