CDE 2580 VISUAL COMMUNICATION

The media world is a visual world, from the use of images to elements of graphic design. This course focuses on visual theory and hierarchy, typography, color, movement, space and composition as applicable to professional publications and the web. Students learn the historical development of visual communication and understand how design components influence perceptions of message content.
