CHN 2020 INTERMEDIATE CHINESE II

This course provides an intensive review of the grammatical structures taught in CHN 1010- CHN 2010 and introduces more complex linguistic structures while placing an increased focus on intercultural awareness in Chinese. Students continue to develop listening and speaking skills through in-class pair and group work, music, film and other media. They begin to communicate orally beyond the sentence level on a wider range of topics about their daily lives, and they begin writing at a paragraph level. Proficiency goal on the ACTFL scale: Intermediate Mid.
