COR 4210 PEAK PERFORMANCE: PUMPING MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT

This course will integrate knowledge from the social and physical sciences to show how the interaction, especially of the mind, body and spirit, is important to obtain peak performance in our endeavors. The term "peak performance" takes on different meanings depending on the discipline in which it is being discussed (exercise science vs. psychology vs. business). This course will discuss the different definitions and theories behind peak performance discuss common characteristics of "peak performers" and develop plans to help the student become a "peak performer." This course is writing intensive. Open to students in the third or fourth year of study.
