DAN 1300 MODERN I

This is an introductory course in modern dance that develops the group consciousness while introducing individual students to their own movement potential through technical training and movement exploration. Theoretical knowledge of dance as an expressive art form is gained through lecture/discussion based on class work, required readings, written assignments and attendance at dance concerts.
