FIN 4120 INVESTMENTS

This course provides an introduction to the basic concepts of investments and investment management. It develops a framework within which to view the investment process and an understanding of the institutional setting in which investment decisions are made. Topics covered include financial markets, risk and return analysis, fundamental and technical analysis, derivatives and asset allocation. Finally, global, ethical, legal, regulatory and financial planning issues will be discussed throughout the course.
