HSS 3620 LIFE IN MARRIAGE

This course will focus primarily on marriage, but will also include topics related to the family experience.  The life-cycle of marriage will be examined from the beginning to the end (dating, mate selection, parenthood, divorce, sexual intimacy, affairs, aging). In addition, cultural influences on marriage will be examined by viewing marriage from a multi-national perspective. There will be a clinical slant and a push for personal growth.  There is a life application component to the course where you will have critical information available to apply to current or future relationships in order to increase success in your personal relationships.
