MTE 3326 ROCK THE MUSIC THEATRE

As the compositional trend of musical theatre continues to rely heavily on pop/rock influences, the modern musical theatre performer must have the technical and interpretive skills necessary to successfully execute those styles in order to remain competitive in the industry. Through individual execution, peer observation, audio and video demonstration, and useful historical narrative, students will cultivate their ability to audition for and perform in pop/rock musicals.
