MTH 2300 MATHEMATICAL METHODS FOR DATA ANALYTICS

This introductory course focuses on mathematical methods  for data scientists. Topics could include the mathematics behind clustering, optimization,  stochastic processes,  regression,  principle component analysis, and neural networks. Students will be exposed to appropriate software to deal with data driven problems and will see a variety of real world mathematical modeling problems.
