MUS 2325 AURAL SKILLS IV

A continuation of MUS 2315 with an emphasis on advanced harmonic materials (diatonic, chromatic, modal) and complex rhythmic structures (changing and asymmetrical meters, polyrhythms). Performance activities include unaccompanied singing, rhythmic reading and keyboard playing. Ear training develops the ability to recognize and notate rhythmic, melodic and harmonic patterns.
