SPN 3590 COLONIAL ENCOUNTERS

This course is designed to strengthen reading and discussion skills in Spanish, and to equip students to analyze texts using appropriate terminology and concepts and relevant contextual information. It also aims to familiarize the student with texts produced in America before and after the arrival of the Spaniards. The materials included vary from oral and written narrations to videos, movies and texts.
