Students will understand the process and principals of theatrical lighting design as it applies to the dance performance. This course will be a combination of lectures/discussions, demonstrations, individual presentations, and hands-on applications.

3. Students will develop the communication skills necessary to effectively discuss lighting concepts for dance.

5. Students will develop skill needed to conduct a lighting hang.
