Master of Arts in Higher Education
Elon’s Master of Arts in Higher Education (MHE) is designed to prepare highly effective professionals for roles as administrators, educators and mentors in a variety of higher education settings. In a cohort structure, students are immersed in a rigorous curriculum linked together by a series of educationally enriching activities and relationships. Students are enrolled full-time in this two-year, 36-hour program that incorporates study abroad, internships, and a paid apprenticeship. The MHE program fosters visionary leaders who possess the knowledge and skills needed to advance student learning, promote organizational development and think critically about their work as ethical decision makers and advocates for social justice.
