CTA 2560 ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA AND SOCIETY

Through a lens of equity and inclusion, this course examines the evolution of how social systems and industry structures shape the content and production of entertainment media. The course will cover topics including media representations of social identities; media production, distribution, and exhibition; industry hiring practices; understanding diverse audiences; and the economic contexts of media production and consumption.
