HSS 4985 INTERNSHIP IN HUMAN SERVICES

The internship in human services provides an opportunity for students to practice the roles, tasks and skills of human service professionals. Students work full time in an approved placement in a human services agency that offers experiences consistent with the goals of the human service studies major. Periodic conferences with the teaching faculty member and the agency field supervisor provide students with feedback and mentoring as they gradually assume the responsibilities of professional-level work in the field.
