MGT 4120 ADVANCED ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR

This course addresses the impact of individual, group and organizational influences on human behavior within organizations. Building on the organizational behavior topics introduced in MGT 3230, the focus of this course is on acquiring in-depth knowledge and developing interpersonal skills through the study and application of theories and concepts related to understanding and predicting human behavior in organizations. Topics addressed include: personality, perception, job design and goal-setting, appraisal, group dynamics, decision making, cooperation and conflict, organizational structure and culture, power and organizational politics, organizational learning, innovation and change management, and organizational development.
