PHY 3970 RESEARCH METHODS I

PHY 3970 is the beginning of a two-course sequence (PHY 3970 / PHY 3980) that serves as an introduction to the processes of scientific research and development, including the design and execution of an experiment or project and the effective communication of results. Students in this course will develop essential scientific skills required for designing an experiment or low-fidelity prototype, beginning with an exploration of scientific principles and a literature search, progressing to proposal writing, and culminating in an implementation of the project.
