University Honor Code and Code of Student Conduct
Students in Elon’s PA Program are students at Elon University and, as such, are subject at all times to Elon’s Honor Code and Code of Student Conduct, as well as the university-wide Title IX and Sexual Misconduct Policy. If conduct arises that may violate both University-wide policies and policies and standards specific to the PA Program, the appropriate Elon administrators will determine which procedure(s) shall be followed and in which order (including whether multiple processes will proceed at the same time). The decision of administrators as to what procedure(s) apply and in what order is final and is not subject to appeal.
Elon’s honor pledge calls for a commitment to Elon’s shared values of Honesty, Integrity, Responsibility, and Respect. To be clear about what constitutes violations of these values; students should be familiar with code of conduct policies described in the student handbook. Students with questions about the specific interpretation of these values and violations as they relate to this course should contact this instructor immediately. Violations in academic-related areas will be documented in an incident report which will be maintained in the Office of Student Conduct. Violations specifically covered by academic honor code policies include: plagiarism, cheating, lying, stealing, and the facilitation of another’s dishonesty. Multiple violations may result in a student’s suspension from the University.
