AAD 2200 Arts Administration and Community

An exploration of arts administration principles in the creation and dissemination of art, particularly in identifying current and potential audience needs, motivations, and barriers.  Students will explore collaboration techniques and learn how to assess the viability of a new arts-based venture for stakeholders of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.  The course addresses how the arts and art-makers interact with audiences, stakeholders, and society.
