POL 1110 American Politics

POL 1110 - American Politics provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the actors, institutions, and processes of American government. Students will critically examine the U.S. Constitution and the values that underlie the document. Questions of who participates and shapes U.S. politics and how power is organized in the U.S. political system will also be addressed. Attention will also be given to the institutions that comprise the American political system. This course teaches students how to be informed and engaged citizens in a democracy.
