Clinical Education Team

The clinical education team members report directly to the Physician Assistant Studies Program Director, Dr. Kim Stokes.  Descriptions of their roles are as follows:

Director of Clinical Education (DCE)

Oversees the day-to-day operation of clinical year; clinical team lead, oversees preceptor program, stakeholder relationships, site quality, coordinates visits of sites and students; responsible for student clinical placement assignments.

Clinical Education Faculty Coordinator (CEFC)

Responsible for the academic work associated with the Clinical year including Moodle course site management, grading, curriculum development and assessment, preceptor feedback, Clinical Phase Preparation and Clinical Year Seminar courses.

Clinical Education Specialists (CES)

Responsible for the business aspects of the Clinical education phase including site recruitment and preceptor relations, contract management, manage contracts, liability coverage, new preceptors and site onboardings; maintaining existing accounts in Exxat; guide and support students through their clinical rotation onboarding and trainings
