CYB3111 Information Security
This course introduces the core principles for managing and storing data in the context of cybersecurity. Students examine best practices for managing information, including restricting access and visibility. Students will engage with techniques for obfuscating data and ensuring its integrity.

- Understand and articulate the fundamental concepts used in data management
- Identify types of information and consider which individuals and groups should be able to access the different types of information present
- Demonstrate an understanding of modern cryptography for data obfuscation

- Apply methods to prevent unwanted access to restricted data
