EDU3050 Learning and Teaching with Technologies
This course focuses on using digital technologies to enhance learning and teaching. Teacher candidates will develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions related to the integration of digital technologies by both K-12 students and teachers in curriculum, instruction, and assessment, among other areas. Teacher candidates will analyze and design uses of digital technologies in relation to both pedagogy and content. Among other topics, attention will be given to teaching digital citizenship, teaching and learning about and with artificial intelligence, and ethical, equity-minded, and accessible technology integration.

EDU 2110, SOC 2430, or EDU 2500
Notes
This course is required for teacher licensure.
Course Outcomes
- 1. Teacher candidates will be able to assess specific uses of digital technology to support and advance teaching and learning.
- 2. Teacher candidates will be able to integrate International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards in their teaching practice to help students become empowered digital learners.
