NEU4970 Neuroscience Capstone Seminar

This course examines the current trends, ideas, technology and scientific theory associated with neuroscience. Discussion and analysis of topics will focus on structural and functional relationships of the brain and body as well as integrating perspectives from multiple fields within neuroscience. Students will demonstrate, through course-related activities, competence of the core principles and concepts of neuroscience, communicate neuroscientific work effectively to diverse audiences, evaluate their own and others’ work, and be prepared to apply neuroscientific skills to their future intellectual trajectory. Course activities will foster interdisciplinary agility in neuroscience through discussion and project-based work that emphasizes scientific inquiry, inclusive excellence, and professional practice.

NEU 1100; ESS 2140 or PSY 2970; 96 credits completed or permission of the Director of the major.

Corequisite

NEU 3100 must be taken prior or concurrently
