STUDENT HANDBOOK

Handbook Overview

The Elon Physician Assistant (PA) Student Handbook is reviewed and updated annually, with additional revisions made as needed. All policies contained herein apply to students enrolled in the PA Program and supersede any prior program-specific policies.

Updates and changes in policies may be suggested by the program director, principal faculty, program staff, medical director(s) or Elon PA Student Society leaders using THIS FORM. Proposals will be reviewed at department meetings or retreats upon receipt. Changes will be made annually. The students will be given written notifications when the policy will become active. Should a timelier update need to happen, these policies may be implemented with notice to students. Students will sign an attestation of notification of these changes. For example, a student completing year 1 will sign an attestation that they have received notification of an updated handbook at the end of year 1.

In the event of a conflict, the policies in this Handbook take precedence over those in the Elon Academic Catalog or the Elon Student Handbook. The online version of this Handbook is considered the official and most current edition.
