Faculty

The faculty teaching in the Graduate Business Certificate in Operations Excellence program are characterized by dedication to engaged learning and the teacher/scholar/mentor model, which are hallmarks of an Elon University education. They also reflect a blend of academic and professional credentials. This program is offered through the Love School of Business, specifically the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship. Many of the current faculty have significant and relevant academic and professional experience.

The faculty who are and will be teaching in this graduate business certificate program are active scholars and researchers, with extensive teaching, research, and professional experience in analytics, supply chain, and/or management. The faculty are theorists, practitioners, and teachers. They are engaged in research and actively consult with business and industrial firms. All, however, put teaching and serving the students first. Research and consulting are pursued to improve effectiveness in the classroom, not as ends in themselves.

Elon’s classes are small and faculty members are accessible. This atmosphere of personal attention, combined with dedication to teaching and reasonable cost, differentiates the Graduate Business Certificate in Operations Excellence program from others.
