Residency Requirement
All first-and second-year students (defined by the number of semesters enrolled, not by academic credits earned) are required to live in on campus housing, including transfer students. The only exceptions are for students living with their parent/guardian(s) or non-traditional aged students. Transfer students are required to live on-campus unless they have completed two years (four semesters) of full-time enrollment at another college or university. To reside in university housing, a student must be 17 years old. Students younger than 17 cannot live on campus, and if admitted, must be a commuter student residing with a parent or legal guardian until they meet the age requirement.
