ART 1140 Introduction to Art in Four Dimensions
Discover how art unfolds through time and movement. This course introduces the core principles of time-based and spatial practices through hands-on exploration with media such as video, sound, animation, installation, and photography. Students investigate motion, duration, sequence and narrative while developing creative problem-solving skills and learning to communicate using the language of art and design. Emphasis is placed on the iterative process—experimenting, testing, and revising—as students expand their ways of seeing, thinking, and making across time and space.

Course Outcomes
